Design & Development
Developing “retailable” furniture products requires flawless designs and trendy materials, and Domificus is fully capable of delivering both masterfully. We have curated an extensive design & development process to work with our clients at great lengths to produce a flawless furniture design. Initially, as soon as the client comes up with an idea or a design about a specific style, we arrange back and forth consultation between the client and manufacturer to work on the details of the design, order quantity, and target timing. Only after the client’s approval for the final design, the manufacturer will create a sample that is reviewed and audited by our expert staff. Finally, after thorough reviews, the sample is presented to the client for approval. Once the sample is approved, Domificus can also take charge of production and quality assurance, as well as supply assistance in logistics.
Our Process
- Product Specification Phase
- The furniture dealer submits their design concept or idea, materials, colors, approximate order quantity, timing requirements, and budget.
- Information is analyzed by Domificus to ascertain if requirements can be met; thereafter, the preliminary information is sent to the furniture manufacturer for further analysis and a proposal. Note that this process is most likely the most time-consuming as initial revisions may be necessary.
- Preproduction Phase
- Depending on the size of the project, a factory tour may be organized so that the retailer/ wholesaler can meet their counterparts at the factory and establish a comfort level with their capabilities.
- Once the factory and the client accept the final design and quotation, a sample can be produced.
- Quality Control
- Before full-scale production begins, quality control procedures, manufacturing guidelines, and compliance requirements are established. This includes specific conditions by the customer.
- Production commences, and if chosen, Domificus may perform quality control during the entire production process, or at specific stages, as required by the client. Note that clients are usually not allowed in the factories during production, as such, it is almost always the case that a third-party quality control firm is engaged.
- The factory will ensure that all compliance issues are met. Domificus may be engaged to control and certify adherence to compliance.

Logistics & Shipping
Logistics is one of the often-ignored challenges impacting service if not appropriately managed. Delayed deliveries can potentially hurt the reputation of the business. Domificus offers assistance in logistics services, with a complete tracking facility to clients to stay updated about the progress of their orders.
From the initial order that arrives at the factory, raw material from a third-party supplier will be ordered. This could be fabrics or leather form upholstery furniture, drawer glides, or veneers and laminates for dining or bedroom furniture. In addition, the manufacturers have the responsibility to procure packaging materials. Timing on all component parts is essential, and just one missing part could delay an entire shipment.
Furthermore, we ensure that our clients are served with the best logistics services sourced through the best freight forwarders at the most competitive rates, In today’s environment of exuberant freight rates, high demand, and limited availability, container shipping had become a logistical nightmare. Factory Audit & Quality Control
